In August 2009, First Baptist Church welcomed Pastor Gary Anderson as our new Senior Pastor.  

Personal Information

Ordained:  Gimli Alliance Church, Manitoba, Canada, with the Canadian Christian & Missionary Alliance

Family Status:  Wife:  Nancy (married August 30, 1975)

Children:  Cathy, Jim, Matt, Caroline

Interests:  Reading, family activities, sports, camping, hiking.

Purpose/Ministry

To glorify God by maintaining a vital relationship with God through Jesus Christ and by bringing others into that relationship.  Loving God, loving his family, loving believers, and loving the lost.  To present maturing disciples to Christ.  His ministry consists of:

     Being an example of authentic Christian living

     Making Scripture understood and applicable both publicly and privately

     Giving sound leadership to the affairs of the church

     Motivating and equipping the church to serve the Lord

     Interceding for the church and the lost

     Modeling an evangelistic lifestyle

Reading Interests

 A.W. Tozer, John Piper, C.S. Lewis, Timothy Keller,  John MacArthur,  and the Christian classics as well.
